First gen Insights were produced from 1999 through 2006. Only a two seater, very rough ride, basic but functional interior with an aluminum body. Goal was exceptional fuel economy which was achieved. Check out www.Insightcentral.net.

Wow. I love that you're still squeezing really impressive MPG out of this car after this long. Also, the trends of weather and speed you note that affect your MPG are very useful. Keep up the good work!
