I was wondering if it would be possible to add the ability to track warranties in the maintenance log?

I was entering the installation of a new battery in one of my cars and it would have been nice to have fields where I could track the date when the warranty ends and/or mileage when the warranty ends. It would save having to hunt down receipts to see if a failed part has, or is still covered by, a warranty.

It would also be nice to have a report that lists all warrantied items.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.
It totally makes sense to add 2 new fields on each service record for warranty expiration date and mileage.

We will add the fields and create report page within a month.

Dear mbrock5532,

We have added new fields to the maintenance record to track parts under warranty and warranty expiration date and/or mileage.
We also added 2 reports to the dashboard page under Maintenance section that show parts still under warranty and all parts that ever had warranty on them.
