i would like to be able to enter and see how much I am paying per gallon. this way others could see and we could all compare how much is payed per gallon through out the country.

We have received similar requests from other users.
It will in fact be convenient to see what other users near you and across the country are paying for gas.
We will research the options to let our users easily see how much others are paying for gas (only if other users want to share their price information of course) and post back.

I agree with this request. It looks like this original request is over three years old. Any chance of adding this to the vehicle history fill-up section soon? Thanks .....................

Dear Leeney and tpollauf,

We have added display of price per gallon to the vehicle fill-up history page. Those of us with a lot of history records can really feel some nostalgia when they see gas prices at $2.50 per gallon.

Those users who don't want to share their fuel prices can check newly added option "Hide My Fuel Prices/Costs" on vehicle details page and this will prevent other users from seeing your fuel costs.

There are lots of useful apps for smartphone such as fuelly. There are even a few suggestions and discussions to improve mpg such as tire pressure, aerodynamics, etc. I recently order tonneau cover from 4WheelOnline for the truck. Many have proved the bed cover can help on the aerodynamics of the truck.
