App development is not free, and they don't (as far as I can see) charge any money for use of the site. I doubt they're making much on advertising. How exactly would you recommend they pay for development? Out of their pockets? I'm not disagreeing, by the way, I'd love to see an app (in my case, I'd want an iOS app, not an Android app) but I just don't see it happening. Look at how infrequently people post on the forums. Unfortunately we don't have mobile app developer on stuff, and cost of designing, developing, certifying and listing of the mobile app is too high and hard to justify for the free service site that we provide. Our plan is to release a new version of mobile site done in HTML5, so it will provide better functionality vs current mobile site while keeping our expenses in check. We don't have release date yet, but should have something within a few months. Offline |
