How do I get this high mpg? I just drive more conservatively. Manual transmission helps because I can coast. I also buy my gas at the station that gives my car the best mpg. You can do this too by sampling your local gas stations one tankful at a time. Be careful to change the air filter as it will lower your gas mileage if it gets dirty. I am using a K&N permanent filter. Also, you will get better mileage if you use ethanol-free gasoline. If you do not have access to ethanol-free gasoline add a gasoline stabilizer like Stabil. |
